My Name is Ana O’Keefe, I am a fully Certified Master Practitioner of Advance Matrix Therapies, a Certified Hypnotist and Fully Certified Master Practitioner of NLP, a Certified Counsellor, Practitioner of Behavioural profiling, Paediatric Hypnosis, Certified Level 1 & 2 Coach, Certified in Emotionally Intelligent Team Programs, and a Certified Professional Speaker and Trainer. I combine NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) with Matrix Therapies, Hypnosis, and other techniques to help my clients embrace their own power and free them of emotional attachments and Anxiety. I work with women and men who struggle with anxiety and other emotional attachments patterns. I support my clients to heal from traumatic events or situations so that they can let go of any impressions or feelings of reliving these events over and over again and move forward to free themselves from anxiety or other stressors holding them back. What makes me unique from other life coaches? I provide time to explore what is really important you. You are the expert of your life, therefore this is a non-judgment space. Together we will work towards reinforcing your strengths in a safe environment and assist you to rewrite that unhelpful narrative that no longer serve you. I will work with you to understand and meet your individual needs. I will support you to develop new skills and and accompany you on your journey. I have been a hairdresser for over 25 years. I have been what you call an “uncertified” therapist, mentor, consultant and friend to my clients for many years. I have always had an interest in ‘human behaviour’, why we do what we do, how our experiences effect our present, how our thoughts can be super powerful and at the same time, be very dangerous. These are only very few, small examples. But, as you can see, I’m an extremely curious person, not unlike a 3 year old child “ why, why, why…”
I have studied Counselling and now I am also a Life Coach. Because of my endless curiosity, learnings, and my own personal journey, I have the ability to be extremely empathetic, non-judgemental, and I want to support others live a purposeful life. Before My Life Coaching Journey

Originally from Colombia. My first 11 years of life, was what you would call “in survival mode”. We had no home, bouncing from shelter to shelter. There would be times where we would go without food for days. The only clothes we had was what we wore on our backs. At the age of 11 years old, I was ripped out of my mother’s arms and put into an adoption centre. 6 months later I was adopted by an Australian family. I was put in the complete unknown, with a new family, not a word of English, and EVERYTHING couldn’t of been more different. A whole new life I had to adjust to. Fast-forward 23 years later. It’s fair to say, life has not always been blissful. You could say I have been on the ‘roller coaster’ of life. The longing for answers to my identity, I returned back to Colombia in search for family and anything that explained my traumatic experiences as a child. To no surprise, all my childhood memories started to make sense, I had answers and now I needed to move forward. Through my own experiences of been ‘’beaten down” I earned the reputation of being a fighter. Through this I have become resilient and determined. But even as an ambitious individual, my self-limiting beliefs would have some negative effects of my outlook on life. These effects kept me from taking on new opportunities, making good choices or even reaching my full potential. They prevented me from achieving success in all areas of my life. The Results of Life Coaching

Since then, I have seen therapists and a life coach, I have worked on all my childhood traumas and have discovered a completely new me, I have achieved a massive turnaround. I have healed from my “situation”. Life Coaching has allowed me to make sense of everything from the past and how the past was holding me back. I was able to make peace with my own inner-child, let go of negative beliefs that I thought was keeping me safe. Let go of events that were keeping my body and mind trap. I was held accountable – she gave it to me straight and helped me make sense of my life and relationships or lack thereof. She finally freed me of my BS story that had been holding me back from experiencing the life and relationships I truly wanted. I couldn’t believe it; the answers were already in me! People started to see an incredible difference in me, because I was “walking my talk”. People were asking if I had met “someone special” and my answer was “YES, I MET MYSELF”. Through my own journey, my life experiences and the LOVE of wanting to help others, and make a difference, Life Coaching has completely changed my life. And now I want to support women and men to achieve a life filled with joy, adventure, romance, deep connections, self-belief, and a sense of true power. I believe anything is possible, no matter what you’ve gone through in life. At some point you need to take responsibility and be accountable for the life you’re after. No excuses, just take action!

The Nervous System Regulation

Did you know your brain and nervous system play a huge role in how you feel every day? Here’s a quick guide to help you understand what’s happening inside your amazing body:

🌟 Nervous System 101:

Central Nervous System
🧠Brain:The boss! It controls everything you do—thinking, feeling, moving, and processing information from your senses.
🔌Spinal Cord: Like a superhighway, it connects your brain to the rest of your body, sending messages back and forth.

Peripheral Nervous System
- Somatic Nervous System: Coordinates voluntary movements (like picking up your child) and processes sensory information (like touch and pain).
- Autonomic Nervous System: Runs in the background, regulating things you don’t have to think about—like breathing and your heartbeat.

💥Why does this matter?
When your nervous system is out of balance, it’s harder to think clearly, connect with others, or manage emotions. You might notice anxiety, mood swings, or physical discomfort.

A Quick Look at Your Brain’s Special Jobs:
- 🧠 Parietal Lobe: Senses touch, pain, and helps you know where your body is in space.

Negative thoughts often come from assumptions we make about ourselves and our situations. 🌪️

🧠 Examples:
- “I won’t get that second date because I'm boring and unattractive.”
- “I didn’t get the job because I’m not smart enough.”

🔍 Let's challenge those assumptions together! Here are some powerful questions to consider:
1. Is this thought based on facts or just emotions?
2. What evidence is there that this thought is true or untrue?
3. How can I test this belief? (Remember: One test score doesn’t define your intelligence!)
4. If I'm feeling overwhelmed, what's the worst that could really happen?
5. Is there another way to look at this situation?

By questioning our assumptions, we take back control and reduce anxiety! 💪💖
