🎄 Holiday Closure Notice🎄

We are sharing our holiday closure dates early to give all patients plenty of time to plan appointments and organise their medical needs.

Your team at Quakers Hill Family Practice will be taking a short break over Christmas and New Year. The practice will be closed from 25th December to 4th January, reopening on 5th January.

We appreciate our wonderful community and wish everyone a happy, healthy and peaceful Christmas.

📢 Big News from Quakers Hill Family Practice

From November 1, 2025, we will be returning to fully bulk billing all Medicare-eligible patients under the government’s Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program (BBPIP).

👉 Please note:

- Our regular doctors’ books are currently full. A waitlist is in place for new patients and for returning patients who haven’t been seen since January 2025.

- Good news! A new GP will be joining our team soon and will be accepting new patients.

- Our GP Registrars are also accepting new patients and you can book with them directly (no waitlist required).

Dear patients,
Our beloved grandmother Merita (mother of Dr Suni Fernando) passed away on Wednesday afternoon. Whilst her death was expected it has still been very hard on us. We have had to cancel our appointments as neither of us have been in a state to consult. We apologize for the cancellation and all the inconvenience it would have caused you. Thank you for all the love and concern you have shown our family. We appreciate it so much.
