✨Meet Your Team ✨
Up next - We have our superstar sport and rec team leader Eilish!
Eilish has been working for The Disability Trust for just over 6 years now. She is the team leader for all of the sport and rec programs in the ACT/QBN, managing a variety of 14 different programs across the two regions. Included in these programs are our Friday night social groups, various sports groups, vacation care for teens during the school holidays and two camps per year. Just to name a few! Most people would also know Eilish for her amazing efforts in managing the Score Raiders football team.
The growth of this team has been one of her biggest achievements working for the Trust. Watching how far it’s come in the years it’s been running since 2019. From training with 3 players at the start, to now playing multiple exhibition matches before NRL and NRLW games at GIO and WIN stadium, playing weekly in the local junior competition, and running a yearly score camp alongside the Score Dragons
Eilish loves playing, coaching and watching Rugby League. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and catching up with friends when she isn’t busy.
Eilish is grateful that she has been able to return to playing footy after having two babies and a knee reconstruction. And is so thankful for the connections that sport has given her over the years.
Fun fact about Eilish, her dog is named ‘Copper’, after the dog in the Disney movie ‘the fox and the hound’ which was one of her favourite childhood movies that she had on repeat as a kid! He is a red kelpie, so the names fits him well (Photo in the comments)
