A warm welcome to Dr Aanchal Agrawal

We are delighted to welcome Dr Aanchal Agrawal, Consultant Psychiatrist, to Wellvue. Based in Queensland, she provides telehealth consultations to adults across Australia.

Dr Agrawal is known for her warm, respectful, and recovery-focused approach. She works with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma-related conditions, eating disorders, personality disorders, grief and loss, and adjustment difficulties. Her care is collaborative and person-centred, with a strong focus on building trust and developing practical, tailored treatment plans.

She also has experience in medico-legal psychiatry, including the preparation of assessments and reports for WorkCover and workers’ compensation matters.

✨ Welcome Dr James Tranter to the Wellvue team! ✨

We are thrilled to introduce Dr James Tranter, Consultant Psychiatrist, to Wellvue’s caring community.

James is a Melbourne-based psychiatrist working with adolescents (12 years and older), young people and adults. He is known for his warm, thoughtful and collaborative approach, taking the time to understand each person’s story as part of a shared journey towards wellbeing.

He brings deep experience in trauma-informed care, neurodevelopmental differences (including ADHD and autism spectrum presentations), mood and anxiety disorders, complex trauma, grief and loss, and family-based work. His approach blends evidence based psychiatry with psychotherapy and holistic understanding.

Outside clinical work, James values movement as part of wellbeing, with qualifications as a yoga teacher and training for ultramarathons, reflecting his belief in supporting both mind and body in the recovery process.

We’re pleased to welcome Dr Megan Richardson, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, to the Wellvue team.

Access to specialist child and adolescent psychiatry is limited across Australia, so we’re proud to now offer this expertise via telehealth, supporting children, adolescents and families nationwide.

Dr Richardson is highly experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults, with a specific interest in the autistic neurotype, ADHD, OCD, anxiety and depression and trauma.

She has experience working with young people and their families using a careful, developmentally informed, and collaborative approach, with involvement of parents and carers where appropriate.
