Today Divine Timing 9 participated in Queanbeyan's Reconciliation Day Walk.

Reconciliation Day reminds us of our commitment to reconciling our Country. It involves renewal of relations, forgiveness and making amends after difficulty or disagreement.

It was great to see so many members of our community aswell as the tonns of smiling school kids!

We are currently looking for experienced Male & Female Support Workers to join our team!

About us:

Dt9 is a small & locally owned Support Work organisation that recently opened. We believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to live the way they want by encouraging Choice & Control, flexible & personalised support to all of our participants. We support a variety of participants starting from 6 yrs old - 70 years old.

Locations:

Dt9 provides supports in Queanbeyan, Canberra, Bungendore & Cooma.

Currently looking for Support workers from:

Northside Canberra
Southside Canberra
Queanbeyan

Pay:

We pay above award, super & all kilometres, we offer training opportunities and work closely with family members/carers, NDIS Support Co-ordinators & Allied Health professionals to ensure you are as informed about our clients as you can. We value self care & believe strongly in boundaries. We have Team Meetings, Weekly updates & Social events.

Available shifts:
Weekday school hours, weekday after school & evenings also weekend/overnight support shifts available.

Duties may include but not subject to:

Supporting clients by accessing the community
Supporting clients to undertake domestic and household duties
Assist with shopping, meal prep and household tasks
Assist with booking & attending appointments
Helping participants with technology & life admin
Collaborate with Allied health professionals
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Assistance with Personal Care
Transport

Requirements:

Current Provide First Aid Certificate and CPR
Current Working with Children Check (NSW) (or provide receipt of payment)
Current Working with Vulnerable People (ACT) (Or provide receipt of payment)

Certificate III in Disability/ Individual Support/ Aged Care or Youth Work (or be willing to be enrolled)
Current Drivers Licence
Access to an insured and reliable vehicle
Ability to handle challenging behaviors and situations
Knowledge of disability rights and advocacy

Experience in Industry:
2.5 years Shev has been in this industry, and she has impacted already so many. Shev is a mental health first aider, has recently completed her Cert III in Individual Support and has Trauma Informed training.

Hobbies & Interests:
Shev is a very die-hard Canberra Raiders fan! She loves to spend her spare time fishing, cooking in her smoker and watching her boys play league.

Industry Goals:
To support and enrich clients lives and help them reach their goals. I would also like to continue support working & study to become an NDIS support- coordinator to further help participants.

Anna is a hobby farmer and owns donkeys. Anna attends Donkey shows and has some amazing stories.

My name is Annie and I am the director of Divine Timing 9 & Divine N9ne

My Why:
I started these companies with the intention of supporting local NDIS participants with tailored supports. My team and I will work closely with your NDIS providers, Allied Health Teams and carers to ensure participants are reaching their goals.
I noticed a lack of companies providing 1:1 support to Clients that weren't just about ticking a box. I will provide constant training & support to my team to ensure we are doing our best. I am hoping to incorporate our teams knowledge & experience and expand with specialising in Male Support Workers.

Experience:
I worked for Candis Plan Support for over 2 years as a Key Relationship Manager, support worker & support co-ordination. I am also trained in Mental Health First Aid, I have completed my Cert III in individual disability support & have Trauma Informed Certificates.
