Walhallow Men’s Group

Yesterday morning, the men of Walhallow got together in the sunshine for a BBQ and a yarn about plans for next Monday and the direction of the group.

This Men’s Group is a space for the men of the Walhallow community to meet regularly whether it’s to swap stories, plan activities, or just hang out and connect. It gives local men the chance to get out of the house, catch up with mates, and focus on their social and emotional wellbeing in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Staying strong and healthy means looking after our mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. Access to Health services like Eye Care, Child and Maternal health, Speech Therapy, and more is essential for our mob, especially in rural and remote areas.

With support from Rural Doctors Network (RDN), these services are reaching more communities, helping to provide culturally safe, community-led care that supports health and healing on Country.

Health is about the whole person and everyone deserves access to the care they need.

Walhallow Aboriginal Corporation is calling for artists!
We’re running an art competition to find powerful, culturally strong artwork for our new cancer strategy branding. The theme is Community, Connection and Strength.

The winner will receive $500 prize money and have their artwork featured in our documents and social media.

Entries close 12th October 2025. Both digital and physical art accepted.
