Check out the enormous and amazing Tarpa Horn!
This instrument exists out of two gourds connected by two pipes with two small reeds inserted. It's the traditional instrument used by indigenous Warli.
The Warlis or Varlis are an indigenous tribe or Adivasis, living in mountainous as well as coastal areas of Maharashtra-Gujarat border and surrounding areas. They have their own animistic beliefs, life, customs and traditions, as a result of acculturation they have adopted many Hindu beliefs
There is a trust called SNET, it's trough them I have discovered this video.
SNET is committed to helping the Warli tribal community preserve its art, music and dance. The trust employs Warli Painters full time creating works of art featuring traditional Warli figures. It promotes evening culture events for the community to share their talent through music, dance and skits. And most recently, SNET has identified several Tarpa Horn players and offered them a stipend so that they will teach the younger generation to learn and play their traditional songs. SNET has purchased several horns on which the young people can learn to play. SNET wishes to expand its program so that there is at least one person per tribal village learning and continuing their ancient music and dance
