π Relieve Neck Tightness with This Stretch!
As a chiropractor, I often recommend this stretch to help with neck tightness or cervicogenic headaches. The chin tuck stretch specifically targets the levator scapulae muscle, providing relief from discomfort.
Hereβs how to perform the stretch:
- Turn your head away from the sore side, into the pocket of your shirt or down into your armpit.
- Place your hand on top of your head and gently drop your head down.
- Remember, we donβt want too much pressure on top.
Typically, aim to hold the stretch for 10-30 seconds.
