Meet Dr Kumar, our doctor at Glebe Medical Centre and Randwick Doctors Medical Centre👨‍⚕️

Dr Kumar, a James Cook University graduate, is a compassionate GP who tailors his care to each patient’s unique needs.
He has a special interest in longevity medicine, helping people stay healthy as they age, as well as men’s health, musculoskeletal conditions, weight management, mental health, sexual health, and chronic disease management.

It is important for men to have a proactive and preventative approach to encourage good health at all ages. Australian data shows that men have higher health care burden than women, however, are less likely to access health care. Let’s reverse this trend.

A men’s health check may involve:
* Taking a thorough history and identifying any concerns you have
* Discussing lifestyle factors such as alcohol, smoking, exercise
* Blood pressure
* Height/weight
* Organising blood tests
* Discussing the PSA blood test for prostate cancer
