This is my baby. It’s not what everyone thinks they grow up and have… but it’s what happened to me. I love this little sweet pea a lot!

I also have two step daughters who are both hilarious, confidant and brave kids. I love spending my weekends with them when they are at Daddy & Amy’s house.

Family isn’t always what you expect, but it can be beautiful.

I feel really lucky to have what I do.

The love of this little dog has blown my mind. 😅

HOT OFF THE PODCAST PRESS!!
The Yin and Yang of Fertility and what you need to know to support your Fertility.

In this podcast, Amy Forth chats with Tasha Jennings on the Conceive Baby Podcast all about how Chinese Medicine understands and addresses fertility. It was a great chat!

If you’ve been trying to conceive for any length of time, you’ll have likely heard about acupuncture or maybe received an acupuncture treatment yourself.

In this episode, we dig beyond that and look at the foundations of Chinese Medicine and Fertility and how they can help you.

What does Ying and Yang really mean? What is QI and how does it relate to your fertility? Plus we’ll be talking about the 5 elements of Chinese Medicine and how we can use these to nourish our fertility.

I love this point. Often known as the headache 🤕 point “Large intestine 4” -have you had it?

This point Large Intestine 4, or hegu, is used A LOT in our clinic as it is traditionally used to encourage blood flow to the uterus and move energy downwards. 👇

This point we use a lot during the period time and through the follicular phase (from period time to ovulation) as it is traditionally known for its ability to increase energy and blood flow to the uterus. The downward energetics of this point is also great for helping with headaches, period pain and constipation and we even use it in the final weeks of pregnancy from 36 weeks to help the body prepare for birth!

Incredible huh!

You can use this point also in acupressure however this point is not recommended after ovulation, nor in pregnancy, until you reach the 36th week.

Fantastic! But what exactly does Acupuncture do, and how can it support your IVF journey?

Colette Assor IVF Babble Acupuncture Leading Expert opens up a conversation withAcupuncturist Lianne Aquilina, leading researcher, and co-author of the textbook acupuncture and IVF.

Colette and Lianne talk about research, emotional health and wellbeing, and that subfertility is not just a medical condition, along with how to find a high-level qualified acupuncturist on an accredited register.

“I have spoken many times before about how I felt acupuncture made a huge difference to my final round of IVF. Not only did it make me feel like I was doing something positive for my body, acupuncture made me feel calm and rested – the two words I had not experienced on my IVF […]

Hand up 🙋🏽‍♀️ if you have damp? My hands up hand up 😅

Hand up 🙋🏽‍♀️ if you have damp? My hands up hand up 😅

Traditional Tuesday. We can tell a lot by looking at your tongue Miley Cyrus.😄😆

👉A tongue with a thick coat like this is indicative of dampness! An accumulation of fluids in the body leads to a sticky coat on your tongue. Damp signs include foggy head, mucous, heaviness in the limbs and digestive sluggishness and bloating.

👉To reduce dampness in the body we usually advise reducing e damp producing foods such as dairy, sugar, wheat, greasy foods such as peanuts and excessive fruits. Also exercise may help resolve dampness!

🧐Do you think you might have damp? Ask your Chinese Medicine practitioner if you are not sure.
