Meet Sheree — one of our amazing Disability Support Workers who brings heart, laughter, and kindness to everything she does! 💜

Sheree’s favourite part of her role is helping clients in every way she can — because, as she says, “I love doing what I do.” 💫

She believes that no matter what a person’s abilities are, everyone deserves to be treated equally and with compassion. Her caring nature, teamwork, and positivity brighten the lives of both clients and colleagues alike. 🌷

Support Worker – Join a Team That Really Supports You
Newcastle & Lake Macquarie Areas
Join Bright Horizon Care — a Registered-Nurse-led team that supports you to deliver confident, high-care, person-centred support that changes lives.
We’re seeking experienced and reliable Disability Support Workers who take pride in providing exceptional care for clients with complex or high physical needs. You’ll help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently — both at home and in the community.
Every day is different — from personal care and medication support to community outings and companionship, you’ll make a real difference.
🔹 What You’ll Be Doing
Providing personal care, toileting, showering, dressing, and grooming with dignity.
Safely operating hoist lifters, slide sheets, and mobility aids.
Supporting medication administration and accurate documentation.
Assisting with community access and social participation.
Following detailed care plans and risk assessments with professionalism and compassion.

Mikayla brings empathy, energy, and genuine care to every shift. She loves spending time with clients, supporting both their physical and mental wellbeing, and creating strong, respectful relationships built on trust. 💫

Outside of work, Mikayla’s recently taken up tennis 🎾 — and in true team spirit, she’s always cheering others on, recognising achievements, and helping to make our workplace positive and inclusive.
