Tummy time is essential to build the foundation curves in the spine. That helps babies reach their developmental milestones. Eg scooting, crawling, sitting, and walking.
Its OK to get abit of neck fatigue and allow them to change positions, rest and try again later. Most importantly make it fun, comfortable and engaging.
