🏡Due to the continued growth of RADCARE, we are seeking Caring, Compassionate, and Patient individuals to join our team as in home Aged Care Support Workers. We are currently recruiting for the Atherton and surrounding areas to support our increasing client base.
💜The Role
This is a rewarding opportunity to support clients with complex needs, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the security of their own homes. Your empathy and patience will be key to building strong relationships and providing high-quality care.
🧡We offer positions across three levels based on your background:
Level 1 (Introductory): Domestic assistance, meal preparation, transport to appointments, and social/emotional support.
Level 2 (Home Carer): All Level 1 duties plus personal care and hygiene supervision.
Level 3 (Qualified): Specialised support for clients with complex physical needs or frailty.
💙Key Responsibilities
👉Quality Care: Deliver support with a patient and compassionate approach, following personalised Care Plans.
👉Reliability: Attend scheduled services on time and accurately log visit notes.
👉Advocacy & Safety: Observe changes in health, maintain professional boundaries, and manage emergency situations (eg calling an ambulance) with a calm demeanor.
👉Compliance: Adhere to WPHS standards, use mobile app for documenting, monitoring and reporting, the use of PPE and maintaining client confidentiality.
💚Essential Requirements
👉Values: A naturally caring and patient nature is essential for working with our people, particularly complex-needs clientele.
👉Documentation: Current Driver’s Licence, reliable vehicle (with insurance), and a National Police Check
👉Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
👉Level 3 Only: Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent).
💰Remuneration
Paid under the SCHADs Award, based on your experience and qualifications. Your specific level and pay rate will be clearly outlined in your Letter of Offer based on your industry history and certifications.
