Blooms The Chemist Raymond Terrace has a fantastic opportunity for a front of shop PHARMACY ASSISTANT, this position would suit 16-18 year old looking for permanent, perm/part-time work.
To be considered for this position the applicants must have:
• Experience in pharmacy is an advantage but not required.
• The ability to recommend and sell appropriate health solutions to our customers.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Email).
• Experience in process sales through the till (desirable).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to greet customers and proactively ask them if they need assistance and refer to the Pharmacist as required.
• Good availability, rosters cover the 7 day and late-night trading periods.
• High standard of presentation and grooming.
• The ability to maintain the presentation of the store and service areas.
The right person must have:
• A positive can-do attitude who is self-motivated and has a willingness to learn and grow.
• A great work ethic is reliable, punctual, honest, proactive and hardworking who is responsible for their own actions.
• A can-do attitude with the ability to work individually and in a team environment.
Your role will focus on:
• Attending to customers and be able to demonstrate a passion for the delivery of outstanding customer service.
• Maintain the pharmacy retail space including stock management, merchandising and promotions.
• General pharmacy duties including maintaining the cleanliness of the store.
• Having an eye for detail and accuracy.
