Well it arrived so instead of waiting on someone to try and get across the road to the nursing home to try and borrow a defibrillator or to try and find one on the grounds at Stroud Show Ground.

Our Annex are going to be having their own Defibrillator to be available for them when it is needed. And will be given to the team tomorrow.

Now to try and get the local paramedics to come by and maybe show the team how to use if and when it could be needed.

State Workshop at Wagga Wagga over the weekend just gone.

Well judy and myself set off in nice weather on Thursday to travel down to Wagga Wagga to be ready for the days ahead of the State Workshop.

Friday was a chilling day until the afternoon of air planes running late and taxis being utilized to get to the Rules Club in Wagga Wagga ready for a coaching catchup with other coaches of RDA. And to meet Mary Longden an asset in the RDA crowd of teaching and mentoring riders and volunteers.

Then Saturday morning we visited the Wagga Wagga Rda Centre. In which we worked out we had been there at least 15 years ago prior for a previous State workshop.

8.30 am registration took place for all coaches and trainers and whips.

And time to take pics and browse about the Wagga Wagga Centre.

Welcoming happened by the president of their centre “Dawn” and acknowledging the custodians on the land.

Then into the workshops for the day some theory and some practical sessions happened through the day thanks to Nicole King and the directors and CASP Team and Mary Longden.

Some great morning tea and lunch and afternoon tea was provided by the Centre for everyone to enjoy. Thank You, Wagga Wagga Rda.

One of Wagga Wagga trainee whips got to do their accreditation in front of a crowd….
Then some time to go back to our hotels and have dinner and chat with the fellow coaches and make more connections to help us in our Rda adventures.

Then Sunday morning was another 8.30am registration took place for all coaches and trainees and whips.

And then some more sessions where given to us from Dr kate,

And the centres RDA cats put on a display of playing attack around people’s feet.

And thanks to presenters Michelle Eastwood vet and director and Jo and Maddy of the Mounted Games Committee and a practical sessions happened through to check out the new games that can be utilized this year for the regional and state competitions.

And then lunch prepared and ready to take and eat on travels for everyone if they wanted too.

Great weekend had by all Thanks to Nicole King and the Wagga Wagga Centre for having us and providing as always a great State Workshop.
