On Sunday August 10th some of our staff and residents were able to participate in a community event of planting native trees along the Red Cliffs Centenary Walking Track. Thank you to all who were involved in planning, it was a great day spent with our community 🌱

Daffodil Day 2025 – A Splash of Yellow for a Great Cause 🌼
Last Thursday, our Village proudly supported Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day 2025. The Village looked absolutely fabulous, adorned with vibrant yellow decorations that brought warmth and cheer to the community.

Residents and staff alike embraced the theme, wearing something yellow to show their support. A huge shout out to Donna, the Lifestyle Team, and everyone who contributed to making the afternoon such a great success!

Thanks to your generosity, we raised a total of $170.00 through gold coin donations — all in support of the Cancer Council’s vital work in cancer research, prevention, and support services.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make a difference. 💛

107 years young! Congratulations to the lovely Eileen Woosnam on her very special 107th birthday today. Eileen resides at the Cottages and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon celebrating with her family and friends. What a wonderful achievement Eileen 💛

Jacaranda Village is a not-for-profit residential aged care facility, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our 75 residents. With a strong focus on community, dignity, and wellbeing, we are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who would like to join our Board of Directors.

As a board member, you will play a key role in guiding the strategic direction of our organisation, ensuring we continue to meet the evolving needs of our residents.

We welcome individuals who:
• Bring experience in governance, healthcare, finance, aged care, IT, or community services
• Share our values of Choice, Digntity, Respect, Care, Team and Commitment
