On behalf of everyone at jacaranda village we would like to thank Red Cliffs Fire Brigade for taking taking time out of their busy schedule to have Santa and his elves come visit us on the fire truck during our cottages Christmas party.

As part of our Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) campaign we invited members from the local Police Station to a 'meet and greet' afternoon tea at the Village. Staff were given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any issues they may have. We thank Colin and Peter for attending this afternoon and meeting with staff.

A visit to the Red Cliffs Primary School's Mini Show was a huge hit with our client's. There was a lot of chatter and interest in what was on display. Our clients and children enjoyed this special outing. Thank you Red Cliffs Primary School for the invite.

Our small group of our Clients visited the lovely garden of Gill & Mick Hogan this week. They enjoyed a stroll through the garden followed by a lovely morning tea.

Our clients had a great afternoon recently when they visited the Red Cliffs Steam Train. Each year our clients are invited to join in on a special open day put together by the Red Cliffs Historical Steam Railway Group. Our Clients were treated to a special ride on the JV 'Express' aka The Historical Steam Train. Thank you to all involved in this great outing.

Good morning All, Just an update to let you know that only Cottage 4 is now in lockdown. the remaining of the facility is functioning as normal at this stage until we get further correspondence from the Department of Health. Our affected residents are recovering well at this stage. We will continue to keep you updated.

Jacaranda Village would like to advise that we currently have a respiratory outbreak and will be in lockdown until at least Sunday the 5th of October. Our clients are well looked after however as a precautionary measure we would like to ask that visitors refrain from coming in to our facility for the time being. We will ensure that we keep you all updated.

Each year at our Memorial Service we acknowledge the passing of our Resident's in the past year. Thank you to all the staff who are involved in the organisation of the Memorial Service,to the families and friends of our Resident's who attended and to Jan Goodieson for the beautiful words and service. 💜

Our wonderful Friends of Jacaranda Village volunteers are holding a FASHION PARADE this Saturday September 21st at 2pm at the Cardross Community Complex, Dairtnunk Ave Cardross. Lorraine's Ladies Wear will be showcasing their new Spring Collection. Tickets are $15.00 and includes Afternoon Tea.

Congratulations to Sue Ferry on her retirement. Sue has worked at Jacaranda Village (previously the Red Cliffs Hospital) for 42 years. We wish her a wonderful retirement.
