This week I am reading (listening to) The Anxious Generation - written by a Social Psychologist who discusses the impacts of device use on young people (particularly children and teens) and the consequences of ‘over supervision’ parenting in the ‘real world’ (basically not allowing kids the freedom to develop independence, build resilience etc.).

A very interesting & fairly easy read with plenty of research and implications/strategies to correct. This book better helps us to understand where the social media at 16 and ‘no phones put during school’ bans came from.

We hope everyone is safe and well! What a wild time!

We would like to let you all know that all of your PAAW team members (humans & animals) are safe and well.

There may be some disruptions to services this week as some of us are flooded in - but we will be in touch with you about this if it affects you.

Lets hope we’ve seen the last of Alfred!
