Lusio Rehab

Lusio Rehab Empowering people of all ages to achieve their movement goals with smart, immersive and engaging smart tech.

LusioMATE is wearable assistive tech that turns all rehabilitation therapy into an engaging experience - at home, in clinic, or on the go. Lusio Rehab is an Assistive Technology hardware and software developer. Working closely with Physios, OTs and other specialist clinicians, we work to motivate people to achieve physical therapy, rehabilitation and movement goals, through FUN and engaging game play. Lusio Rehab's unique wearable gaming controller and App based gaming ecosystem, LusioMATE, combines the everyday need for physical therapy with FUN game play. An ever growing suite of games (currently 26) help to motivate all movement goals, and furthermore all activity can be monitored remotely by clinicians, bridging the gap between in clinic appointments. The problem for almost anyone doing a program of physical therapy is that it can get boring and hard to maintain focus on prescribed goals. How many times have you been given a physical therapy program you didn't complete? LusioMATE has a wide scope of influence and we're now proud to say our clients range in age from 4 to 94 years of age, with a varied personal need to move, such as:
Stroke - Autism - Parkinson's - Chronic Pain - Aged Care -Traumatic Brian Injury (TBI) - Spinal Injuries - Multiple Sclerosis - Weight Management/Fitness - Cerebral Palsy
We have a range of Allied Health providers, Hospitals, OT/Physio clinics using LusioMATE within their everyday practice internationally. Physical therapy is hard to access, expensive and not monitor-able beyond a patient's session, but with LusioMATE all that can change. The future of rehab is to enable it anywhere, anytime and and we are committed to making that future possible today.

**LusioMATE is a class 1 medical device accredited by the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia, as well as a proud NDIS provider under AT, low cost, low risk.**

✨ Lusio Clinical Adviser Steph’s magic moment this week? ✨
A LusioMATE V2 sensor + a Syrebo robotic glove = one BIG breakthrough for very weak hands 💪🧤

🧠💙 Neuro physio Steph paired these two tools to help a client engage in functional grasp and release.
Why does this matter? Because sometimes the right combo of assistive tech can spark real progress even when movement is minimal.

Steph says it best:

“A useful combination of two modalities for very weak hands.”

👏 This is how we do rehab; flexible, creative, and always human.

We’re so excited to share a story from our brilliant Clinical Adviser Steph, a neuro physio who’s always thinking outside the box.

This week, Steph combined LusioMATE V2 sensors with a Syrebo robotic glove to support a client with very weak hand strength. The result? A new level of engagement, movement, and possibility.

In her own words:

“A useful combination of two modalities for very weak hands.”

🔹 Real progress happens when we tailor therapy to the individual
🔹 The best outcomes often come from collaboration - tech + clinician + creativity
🔹 Hope isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s essential. 💙

🎥 We’ll let the video do the rest of the talking.

It's hashtag , and today we're welcoming a fresh dose of motivation into the Lusio Family!

Whether you're a clinician supporting clients through small wins or a user pushing through a tough session — this is your reminder that progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes it's the quiet consistency that leads to breakthroughs.

Here’s to midweek momentum! 🚀

30/11/2025

This , we’re sharing two stories from the frontline of therapy where small wins mean everything.

🧠 Stephanie P, a neuro physio, told us about Steven, her post-stroke client. By shifting his focus away from his body and onto the LusioMATE experience, he’s been able to build consistency, repetition, and coordination.

🛏️ And from physio Dalena P, we heard about Alex who’s been through a tough few months. Now able to engage in bed-based therapy, Alex is using LusioMATE to rebuild strength, with support workers saying it’s super simple to use.

💡 Why does this matter?

✅ Therapy adapts to the person, not the other way around
✅ Motivation and setup are simple
✅ And therapists can track real progress behind the scenes

You can’t improve what you don’t measure. Let us know if you’d like a demo for your clinic or client.

🎥 Real clients. Real rehab. Real results.
is here 👇

🧠 “A useful adjunct to therapy.” — Stephanie P, Neuro Physio
💪 “Helping him rebuild strength.” — Dalena P, Physio

✅ Movement focus improves engagement
✅ Bed-based therapy made possible
✅ Support workers and therapists stay connected

Because…
You can’t improve what you don’t measure.

LusioMATE supports neuro rehab, stroke recovery, and functional re-engagement, in clinic, at home, or in bed.

🎉 — Part 3 of 3
We’re wrapping up our mini-series featuring physio Kristin’s incredible feedback on using LusioMATE across her neuro rehab caseload. 💬

🧠 In this final chapter, we reflect on what happens when client engagement and precision tracking come together: better outcomes and clearer progress.

📹 In the video:
A client works on knee extension, built on a foundation of trunk control. This progression has helped them move more efficiently and confidently over time.

💡 And it doesn’t stop there. Kristin shared an idea that’s got us thinking:

“Waterproof sensors would open up exciting possibilities for hydrotherapy.”

🙌 Huge thanks to Kristin, and all the therapists in the Lusio Family, for the insights, creativity and heart you bring to every session.

👉 Got a game-changing idea for LusioMATE? We’d love to hear it.

💬 | Part 3 of 3

We’re closing out this 3-part series featuring the wonderful Kristin, of Morisset Mobile Health, a physio who’s been generous enough to share her LusioMATE journey and clinical insights. 👏

🎮 In this final post, we highlight how better engagement and precision tracking can unlock real rehab progress, like helping a client move from trunk control to more effective knee extension.

But Kristin didn’t stop at what LusioMATE is doing, she also pointed to where it could go next:

“Waterproof sensors would open up exciting possibilities for hydrotherapy.” 🌊

This kind of frontline feedback helps shape the evolution of the platform - and we’re here for it.

🙏 Thank you Kristin, and every clinician in the Lusio Family, for helping drive forward therapy that’s evidence-aligned, empowering, and engaging.

💡 Got a feature idea? Let’s build the future together.

💜 💜

Today we’re honoured to welcome Skillz4me - Family Centre for Disabilities into the Lusio family.

This new LusioMATE comes with special meaning as it was generously donated by the family of Allegra Says, a long-standing Lusio client who sadly passed away recently. Allegra had the most radiant, infectious smile, and brought so much love and energy to everyone lucky enough to meet her. 💫

To see her legacy live on through Skillz4Me, supporting young adults to move, grow, and find joy in their rehab journeys, is deeply moving.

From all of us at Lusio, thank you to Skillz4Me for the amazing work you do, and to Allegra’s family for allowing her spirit to continue making such a powerful impact. 💜

Welcome to the Lusio family. 🤝

🎥 – Clinical creativity in motion on the Central Coast! 🧠🦵

Last week, Lusio CEO & Co-founder Justin Keenan dropped in to work with the brilliant team at Central Coast Neuro Rehab, exploring how LusioMATE can support functional movement goals, in the clinic and beyond.

Here’s what was covered:
🦶 Walking: shifting focus from mechanics to the goal of game targets
🪑 Sit-to-stand: transforming a rehab essential into a goal-driven task
🪜 Glute bridges: pacing and precision boosted with real-time feedback

✨ The big moment? Seeing the team get excited about how LusioMATE can augment their therapy, supporting everything from gait and balance to creative session design.
