I was born in the southern part of Russia, situated near the Volga River close to former Stalingrad (current Volgograd) in a city called Balakovo. My parents were both medical doctors, very hardworking and constantly busy. My little sister and myself hardly saw our parents and were missing them a lot while they were saving other people’s lives.

My Mum would be often called at night after being at work for 10-12 hours during the day. She would forget her own needs and would help everybody in need of medical assistance. My mother was very much loved in our town where most people knew her and were her patients. She was terribly missed after she was tragically killed in the car accident when I was 12 years of age.
I had to grow up very quickly after this tragedy and help also with the upbringing of my younger sister.
My admiration of my mum’s ability to help other people made my goal of becoming a doctor stronger than ever.
I was very fortunate being surrounded by my grandparents (my Mum’s parents) who gave me all their love and support to make my dreams come true. Grandfather was a retired General in the Russian Army who taught me discipline and responsibilities and my amazing and loving Grandmother who showed me what unconditional love and support means. Without their love and dedication, I wouldn’t be who I am now.
Eventually the little girl’s dream came true and I became a Medical Doctor specialising in General Medicine, Dermatology and Sexual Transmitted Diseases. I could also save somebody’s life like my Mum - my Hero - many years ago.
But this little girl also had a dream of meeting her Prince and having a family. This dream did not make me wait too long when I met Gotthard, who was originally from Germany, and who had been living in Australia for many years at that time.
Migrating to Australia was a challenging journey with five years going through recognition of my Russian Medical Degree and another five years of becoming a Fellow in General Medicine with a special interest in Skin conditions/ Skin cancer surgery and Cosmetic medicine.
Ten years of extremely hard work and enormous frustration and desperation with lots of tears when I would fail the English exam or Medical exam during my recognition or after passing all exams struggling to find a job as a doctor in Australia made me very strong.
My first job as a doctor in Australia took me to rural Victoria, where I lived apart from my husband for nearly 18 months. To keep the family together, Gotthard would fly in every month to spend some time with me and our child. Eventually, I had an opportunity to return back to Queensland and start working in Maryborough with another baby on board.
I only could succeed with all this, thinking about my Hero Mum with her exceptional hard work and the determination I was taught by my Grandfather with the ability to be loved unconditionally by my Grandmother.
I cannot be more grateful to my husband Gotthard for his massive support and belief in me. His and our kids love and support took me to the stage where I am now, having my own clinic with amazing administrative staff, nurses and doctors I have the honour and privilege to work with at Aqua Marine Medical Centre & Skin Clinic. For a healthier you, my family and “Aqua Marine Medical Centre & Skin clinic“ are diligent to save your lives!!!!
