Job role - Chiropractic Assistant
Sports ‘n’ Spines Chiropractic Clinic in Redland Bay is looking for a second ‘Reception Superstar’ to join our team.
Do you have past medical or allied health admin experience? (this is a prerequisite). We are looking for someone who can provide the best experience for clients, run the "front of house" & support or chiros. If you have a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude, initiative & foresight in spades, like to go above
& beyond, then this role is for you.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a history in medical/health care admin
- Is savvy with numbers, computers, excel & social media
- Has initiative, intuition & foresight on tap
- Doesn’t fear a busy environment
- Is organised
- Is able to multitask
- Is meticulous
- Likes to dot their 'i's & cross their 't's
- Has a great bedside & phone manner
- Is a people person

About the Role

This is a front-of-house, fast-paced role suited for someone who loves multitasking and being at the center of a busy, positive health environment.
We are looking for:

• Multitasking Pro: The ability to manage various administrative, scheduling clients and taking payments.

• Ideal for someone looking for a job-share position.
• Must be available early from 7:30AM to late 7:00PM.
• Position would be 20-25 hours per week.

You may have noticed another friendly face in the clinic recently — Bradley! 👋

We’ve had the pleasure of having Bradley join us over the past four weeks as part of his chiropractic placement. He’s currently studying Chiropractic Science at CQU in Brisbane, and as part of his training, he’s required to spend time observing chiropractic practices.

Bradley mentioned an interest in running, so we took the opportunity to bring him along to Parkrun and dive deeper into running ergonomics and rehabilitation - a great way to blend theory with practice! 🏃‍♂️

We’ve been honoured that Bradley chose to complete his placement with us and are so grateful to have been part of his journey into the profession. Wishing you all the best for the rest of your studies 👏

By all accounts Dr Tammie had an amazing time travelling Europe and is now ready to get back to work. She is looking forward to seeing you all.

Welcome Dr. Tyson 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼

This handsome Chappy Dr. Tyson has kindly offered to step in and help us out while Dr. Emma and Dr. Tammie gallivant the globe.

Tyson has always been fascinated by how the body works and that led him to get his Bachelor of Science and then his Master of Clinical Chiropractic. Fun fact: Tyson received the Clinical Excellence award when he finished his degree. Something he is pretty proud of.

Tyson has got a real soft spot for tricky cases. Especially when it comes to sports injuries. Whether you're a weekend warrior, a serious athlete, a 9-5 worker who needs help from that pesky disc injury, Tyson is keen to help you get back to doing what you love.

When he's not in the clinic you'll probably find him at the bouldering gym or lifting weights. He's also currently training for the Bridge to Brisbane. So, he definitely gets the whole 'pushing your body' thing!

Tyson's goal is to make you feel comfortable and listened to. He's all about working together to figure out what's going to work best for you and continue the high level of care you are used to receiving.

Tyson is looking forward to meeting you and helping you feel your best!
