We are after an enthusiastic person to fill a position of sales loader operator. Previous experience is preferred, Excavator experience is also advantageous. The successful applicant will mainly be operating our sales loader but will also be expected to undertake plant maintenance and shoveling as and when required. Due to recent changes to the legislation, the successful applicant will need to undertake a respiratory health surveillance check, supplied by the quarry. At this point this job is a casual position and casual loading applies, the hours are 6:30am - 5pm Mon- Thursday and 6:30-4:30 Friday with the occasional Saturday required. Your application will include the following.
1. How many years' experience do you have as a machine operator?
A loader ticket or proof of competency would be beneficial however the ability to demonstrate operating skills is more important.
2. Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?
3. Do you own or have regular access to a car?
4. How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
5. Are you willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check? Lung x-rays are required to establish baseline lung health information.
6. Working week averages 49.5 hours but can require Saturday work.
7. Knowledge of Quality Assurance, sample taking and reporting of material changes to the SSE skills that can be taught as you go.
8. We have an expectation that company policies which require an understanding of OH&S/WHS protocols are followed, toolbox talks every morning give staff a chance to raise issues etc.

We are after an motivated Admin Assistant. The successful applicant would benifit from having experience in MYOB and be willing to learn new skills centred around the quarry industry, onsite training will be required to fill in the gaps. The main duties will be dealing with the public, organising sales, booking trucks for delivery, monitoring stockpiles QA etc. The job is a casual position, the normal hours are 7am - 2.30pm Wed-Fri with extra time given to allow training . The ability to provide relief when required on alternate days is also a must. Reliability is a key attribute so own reliable transport is required.

We are putting out an expression of interest for applicants looking for work in a quarry. We are looking for people with diverse skills in one or more of the following areas, excavators operating with rock experience, preferably within quarries, Front end loader, dump truck or control room operator. Tickets would be advantageous. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake normal quarry duties including plant maintenance etc. Depending on your skill set, if you are employed as an excavator operator you maybe required to operate the dump truck, loader, or excavator. Due to recent changes to the legislation, the successful applicant will need to undertake a respiratory health surveillance check, if you have one recently this would be looked upon favourably. At this point this job is a casual position and casual loading applies, the hours are 6:30am - 5pm Mon-Fri. We are located approximately 40km from Bundaberg and 17km from Childers. We are after an excavator operator who has experience with rock, preferably doing quarry work. An excavator ticket is required, Front end loader, and dump truck would also be advantageous. The successful applicant will mainly be operating our ZX360-5, undertaking normal quarry activities and maintenance. At times you may be needed to operate the dump truck or loader. Due to recent changes to the legislation, the successful applicant will need to undertake a respiratory health surveillance check, supplied by the quarry.
