6AM HYBRID CREW — Getting Sharper Every Week 🔥

December’s HYROX is getting closer, and our Friday Hybrid sessions are all about building the engine, the efficiency, and mindset needed to perform at your best.

Today’s session:
➡️ 1-minute ON / 1-minute OFF intervals
This style of training is one of the most effective ways to:
• Increase your lactate threshold (so you can push harder for longer)
• Improve high-intensity output
• Train your nervous system to stay sharp under fatigue
• Build cleaner, more efficient movement patterns for every HYROX station

We rotated through:
• SkiErg
• Rower
• Burpee Broad Jumps
• Wall Balls (to target)
• Sled Push
• Farmer’s Carry
• Walking Lunges

Every exercise hits a different part of the HYROX skill set — power, endurance, full-body resilience, and movement efficiency.

But here’s the best part…
👉 You don’t need to be doing HYROX or DEKA to benefit from this class.
This workout makes you fitter for everyday life — stronger lungs, stronger legs, better stability, better movement, and more confidence in your own ability.

This is honestly one of my favourite classes to teach each week. Amazing to see a regular crew showing up on a Friday morning, putting in the work, getting better, and supporting each other.

Sunday HYROX Session 💥

Another awesome Sunday run-through for athletes preparing for HYROX Melbourne in four weeks’ time!

A big well done to .maisyy and , who travelled in from the city to put themselves through the full HYROX session today. They worked really well together in the HYROX Open Teams format — great intensity and great teamwork 👏🔥

Our weekly HYROX practice session is open to non-members, and it’s only $25 per person. You’ll get access to all the required HYROX equipment plus a proper 1km outdoor run — the perfect setup to sharpen up before race day.

I’m absolutely buzzing — just secured my ticket for my FIRST HYROX PRO event! 🔥
I’ll be hitting the floor in Taipei on the 28th of February next year, and I honestly can’t wait.

This is a brand-new challenge for me and very excited to see what I can do. This is what keeps us growing. Every goal we set becomes a beacon — something to move toward, to stay focused, and to keep showing up even when the days get tough.

Super excited. Super grateful. And 100% locked in.

Very happy with my workout today! Finished faster than last week — even though I added an extra 50 wall balls at the end 💥

It’s been a long road coming back from my hernia operation. For a while, it felt like I was miles away from where I wanted to be. But bit by bit, session by session, things are starting to fall into place again. Still a way to go, but I’m feeling stronger, more focused, and grateful just to be able to push hard again.

We had an open HYROX session today where people could come in and run through the workout, and it was great to see Shane and Shannon getting after it too 👊 Awesome effort from both of them!

Here’s what my session looked like:
