✨Resource of the week - ZINGO!✨

Here at Grow & Tell, we all love Zingo 🤩🙌It’s a fun and adaptable matching game and is a great therapy tool for targeting a multitude of different goals!

We use it in 1:1 sessions, peer sessions and within our social groups!

🎯In Speech, we use it to work on vocabulary, reading, following instructions, encouraging turn taking and more!

🧩In OT, it supports fine motor skills, visual perception skills, attention, social skills and managing winning and losing.

📚DECODABLE CHAPTER BOOKS 📚

Keeping in the spirit of Book Week, today we are turning the spotlight on 2 of our favourite decodable chapter series ‘The Fox Kid’ and ‘Miss Moss’ 📖🙌

Both series use phonics-based text, controlled vocabulary and predictable structures to build confidence, fluency and motivation 💪🧠✨

These series bridge the gap between phonics readers and full chapter books in a way that is:

✅ FUN

✅ ACCESSIBLE

✅ ENCOURAGING

They are ideal for early readers (5 - 8 years), struggling readers and readers with dyslexia.
