Red, Yellow, Green. It's how Indi thinks through every hamstring injury on field and in the clinic.

Red = regeneration phase (one to really respect)
Yellow = S&C, strength and return to running
Green = on-field work, return to contact, return to play

Indi is a Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist at Complete Physio Richmond. She has extensive experience in elite AFL environments, including her time as Lead Physiotherapist for the Gold Coast SUNS AFLW team.

"Back in the day we used to rest for 10 days and then slowly build back in. Not anymore."

Indi talks through why early mobilisation has replaced the old rest protocol for hamstring injuries and what should be happening in those first few days after injury.

This is the first in a series of clips from our Hamstring Injuries in Football seminar held last month at Complete Physio Richmond.
