The Sensory Gym is both proud and humbled to celebrate its 20th anniversary of providing exceptional occupational therapy services to children and families. In our tenure, we have had the privilege to work with families from across Australia. We originated as a one-room, sole provider business and have grown to a thriving clinic that has supported the growth of dozens of therapists and thousands of children and families. We have always had clarity in our mission, and this has held us steady through many changes in how paediatric occupational therapy services are delivered in Australia. We recognize that we are just a ripple in the pond and strive to make those ripples as positive and strength affirming as possible.
Today and twenty years ago:
We honour the child, not the challenge, and seek to support the child in showing and being all that they truly are. We recognise the power that belief, hope and love hold in the therapeutic process. We believe in what is possible, in what can be.
