This seminar series will focus on the practice of psychoanalytic psychotherapy assessment. Reading material provided will be reviewed in the small group. Participants are expected to bring clinical material to be discussed within in the small group, and this will be thought about in relation to suitability for psychoanalytic psychotherapy. This series is suitable for those who have already completed short courses or seminars in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and are engaged in clinical practice.

Rosalie Birkin is a child and adult psychoanalytic psychotherapist. Her qualifications in psychoanalytic psychotherapy include the 4-year Victorian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists (VAPP) Training Program in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Master of Child Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (Monash). She has taught on a number of psychotherapy training programs and university courses, and provided individual supervision to many mental health clinicians, as well as private supervision groups, reading groups, and seminars in psychoanalytic theory and practice over many years.

FEE: $350 + GST (includes text book*) for a series of five 75-minute seminars held online only on Wednesdays at 5:30pm to 6:15pm

Seminars are scheduled on a fortnightly basis from 17th July 2024 until 11th September (*fee reduced if you have the book)
