We are proud to support the Deaf Sports Recreation Victoria (DSRV) Deaf and hard of hearing sports days.
These days bring great joy to student participants every year.

The 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐟 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 is back, Wednesday November 20th 2024!

This event is open to all Deaf and Hard of Hearing Primary School-aged kids in Victoria.

What an incredible weekend in Sydney at the ANZCED conference, where dedicated teachers from across Australia united to enhance the lives of deaf and hard of hearing students!

We are very proud to sponsor the Deaf School Sports and are grateful to Deaf Sports Recreation Victoria (DSRV) for making these happy and memorable days happen.

Yesterday DSRV had the pleasure of hosting students from across Victoria for the 2024 Deaf Senior School Sports Day.

This year we had 150 students registered for the day!

We will have more photos to share soon, but for now we need to thank those that made the day possible.

Hearing Loop Australia for sponsoring this event that enables us to organise excellent facilities for the day to take place.

Our wonderful coaches who ran clinics with the students -
AFL Victoria, Basketball Victoria, Football Victoria, Netball Victoria and Tennis Victoria.

The tremendous Deaf Role Models who coached alongside the state sport organisations -
Deaf Football Victoria, Deaf Tennis Victoria and Melbourne Deaf Football and Futsal Club .

And our wonderful group of volunteers who donated their time to support the young members of the community.

We're thrilled to announce that our clinic is now equipped with a Hearing Loop (shout out to Hearing Loop Australia! ), also known as a telecoil system! This fantastic technology transmits sound directly to hearing aids and cochlear implants, making it easier for those with hearing loss to enjoy clearer sound in various settings, from theatres and conference rooms to public transport.

By reducing background noise and enhancing speech clarity, Hearing Loops help individuals with hearing loss fully participate in social and public activities. Whether you're visiting us for services or just want to test if the telecoil in your hearing aids is working optimally, we've got you covered!
