Most of us have been conditioned since childhood to believe we are responsible for other people’s emotions.

IN OUR HOMES WE HEARD:

“You made me lose my temper”

“This is going to make dad so angry”

“You really upset your grandmother”

“If you didn’t stress me out so much, that wouldn’t have happened”

The message is: you are responsible for managing other people’s emotions. And if people feel upset or hurt, you’re wrong or “bad.”

If we want to live an authentic life. If we want to return to the truth of who we are— we have to begin to focus on ourselves.

This is extremely hard for those of us who spent our whole childhood focused on not upsetting someone, or being seen as “good” to not hurt someone else.

Our true responsibility in life is to become who we actually are.

We are not responsible for managing other people’s emotions or perception.

This doesn’t mean we aren’t conscious to how we behave + express ourselves. As we heal we become more conscious to this.

It just means we stop the exhaustion of living for the approval or validation.

It just means we release our constant focus of owning emotions or reactions that aren’t our own

**Coconut Peach Dream Smoothie Recipe**

This coconut peach smoothie is sweet, delicious and creamy. You won't believe how good (and how easy) this fruit smoothie is with just 4 ingredients! It's perfect for a snack or even breakfast.

👉 1 cup coconut milk chilled

👉 1 cup frozen cauliflower rice

👉 2 frozen or fresh peaches peeled and cut into chunks

(lemon zest to taste)

👉 ½ tsp cacao (nibs or powder)

Add coconut milk, cauliflower rice, cacao and peaches to the blender. Add a few gratings of fresh lemon zest, to taste.

Blend on high speed until smooth and as easy as that - enjoy!

October Weekend Retreat special guest 💙
Esther will be joining us from Mind and Body Fitness to discuss how exercise is a way to connect to felt sensations within the body (interoception) e.g. that can benefit you to identify pain/pleasure and how you can adapt exercise to relieve or acknowledge pain and find a more pleasurable outcome through movement.

We'll look at our surroundings and our body in the space (proprioception), and also how we can use this throughout movement for grounding (which may help you pull away from flashbacks, unwanted memories, and negative or challenging emotions). These techniques may help distract you from what your experiencing and refocus on what's happening in the present.

This will be suitable for all levels of fitness (from sedentary to intermediate) you will be taken through a workout that builds on major areas of fitness such as core strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility. You can then easily take this experience home with you after the retreat (Esther will provide you with a take home routine with what they have done on the day) (modifications will be made to individualise the workout to each of your individual needs throughout the session).

The exercise mat is the only piece of equipment that will be used and will enable you to work almost every muscle in the body incorporating the mindfulness practises you will learn over the session/weekend.

Session will include gentle relaxation stretches to re-centre and again connect with their body and mind after the session (a time for self-review).
Esther will be available after the session to answer any questions you may have 💙

I honestly have been taking this supplement for 3 months
I’m not one to rave as such about a product...
However, I just cannot get over the positive results - to name a few:
- Improved digestion and immunity
- Decreased hunger, even with training most days
- Improved strength gains (far out lifting double what I could do without and the recovery is quick)
- The best part is the energy I’m experiencing (not from a stimulant either) like wife-ing, parenting and training are becoming a real joy...

Let's talk SELF WORTH.

I'll let you in on a SECRET 🤫

We ALL struggle with it at some stage. Some more than others. For some it may pop up once in a blue moon (literally), and for others it may be a part of their every day life. But we will all struggle with it from time to time... And those who tell you they don't, aren't telling you the truth.

It's just that some deal with it as it arises, doing the deep uncomfortable work and some choose to ignore it and dumb it down with a unconscious binge on Netflix, chocolate cake, drama or substance.

^ They are choosing to self sooth.
Not self heal.

See even those who do the work - can struggle. Like ME!

I do the work, teach the work, then do the work to teach the work all over again!

It's what makes me an awesome coach. It's what makes me, ME. I'm authentic.

So I ask you, where do you sit with your self worth and where is it showing up for you in your life?

Relationships?
Money?
Opportunities?
Pleasure?
Love?

And just how uncomfortable are you willing to get to face this lack of self worth head on?

Is it really worth a lifetime of internal battle, incongruency and unhappiness?

Because at the end of the day... It's your CHOICE

Ok tried and tested! It is awesome this high protein omelette had me like 🤯 💥
I didn’t put topping on yet just to show how great it turned out! Like it folded without breaking, wasn’t dry and actually so full of flavour!
I omit the nutritional yeast (because I had none left) and used regular ground flax meal (the recipe asked for golden flax). It’s a pretty easy one to adapt to be honest! Chickpea flour I will definitely keep using more often!
