Our gardening team has just finished beautifying an older garden bed near the BBQ area. It's looking great, and will soon provide some nice shade. 😎

Say ‘hello’ to our gorgeous new village bus complete with signage now. This morning was it's inaugural trip, and we packed it full of residents. Drop by and check it out, or join us on one of our daily bus trips.

It was a special day in the village yesterday, particularly for our ‘green thumbed’ residents! The newly installed garden beds were ‘Christened’ with the inaugural planting of various seedlings kindly donated by Bunnings and members of the Garden Club. What a beautiful Winter’s Day and what a momentous occasion for Brookland. For those residents interested, the Garden Club meets monthly on the third Friday of every month.

The ukelele group at Brookland is certainly growing and the talent is too! With Trevor at the helm, each week residents come along and have a jam session in the private dining room, followed by coffee at our café - for a job well done! Watch out “Australia’s Got Talent!”

Our lovely flower fairies were busy this morning, putting the Mother's Day gifts into letterboxes. We're looking forward to a Happy Mother's Day to all the special ladies out there among us!

Our Village Managers - Cathie, Haley, Maureen, Bronwyn, Leilani & Debbie, with Chief Operations Officer Craig Syphers, recently got together for their annual Strategic Planning Day. It was an invaluable opportunity to take a step back from the day-to-day, and focus on the bigger picture—analysing our operations, reflecting on our achievements, and candidly discussing the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Our exceptional Village Managers brought thoughtful insights, deep operational knowledge, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement. Their passion for delivering outstanding communities and resident experiences was clear throughout the day.

Reside Communities is in a strong position for the future, and it’s clear we are in very capable hands. We can't wait to see what we'll accomplish together in the year ahead!
