This morning we drove past Jamison Valley and the entire valley was filled with cloud.

Only the peaks were visible.
We were above the clouds.

It felt like standing at the edge of something sacred.

My daughter didn’t want to get out of the car, and I reminded her —
life is uncertain.

We don’t know what tomorrow holds.
We don’t know how long a season will last.
We don’t know which moment will become a memory we wish we had paused for.

So notice the view.
Step out of the car.
Take the breath.

The clouds will always move.

The question is — were you present while they were there?
