Where can skin cancers develop? Unfortunately both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer can appear almost anywhere on the body.

𝗨𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:
→ eye (ocular melanoma)
→ under your fingernails and toenails (subungual melanoma)
→ groin area
→ between your fingers and toes
→ on your scalp or in facial hair

It is estimated that 1 in 10 Australians may be affected by rosacea.

We regularly treat patients in clinic for this, many of whom have mistaken the condition for acne or sun sensitivity!

It commonly appears as chronic redness across the cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead, but it can appear in various forms such as:
