Originally the company was called Accommodation Network, then later ACCNet21.
Our mission at UDC is to support people with disability to love their life and live their dreams, by achieving their goals and connecting with their communities in meaningful ways. United Disability Care was founded in 1993 by a lovely lady named Deb Stewart who wanted to provide support services to people with a disability in their own home. Its operation was focused on the rural NSW regions nort
h and north-west of Sydney, with its corporate support services and executive team offices in Tweed Heads and Ocean Shores, near the Queensland border. We provide supports in Southern QLD, Northern NSW and Mid-North Coast

Good people, good food, great night 💜
In March, we got the team together on the Gold Coast for a UDC staff party at White Rhino Bar and Eats Surfers Paradise, and it was exactly what we needed. A relaxed night, good food, drinks in hand, and plenty of laughs.
With partners and friends joining in, it turned into one of those easy catch‑ups that no one wants to leave. A great reminder that while the work we do is important, the people behind it matter just as much.

From familiar faces to housemates 🏡
Chris and Ryan have known each other for a long time and were both part of the UDC community while living in different SIL homes. Recently, they took the next step by moving in together into a shared unit.
Since settling in, they’ve built a great routine and continue to support each other day to day, not just as housemates, but as genuine mates.
It’s a great reminder that the right home isn’t just about the space. It’s about the people you share it with 💙

Celebrating our Employee of the Month winners💙
We’re proud to recognise Daniel and Tanya as the most recent Employee of the Month winners at UDC.
Service Leader Daniel, has stepped into a new and challenging SIL service with courage and confidence. Taking on significant change is never easy, but Daniel has embraced it wholeheartedly. Backing himself, supporting his team, and leading from the front. His impact has been clear, with the team thriving under his leadership.
Tanya, our incredible Roster Clerk, is the definition of reliable and supportive. She consistently goes above and beyond. Stepping in where needed, supporting her teammates, and keeping everything running smoothly, even under pressure. Her positive attitude and professionalism make a real difference every single day.
Congratulations to Daniel and Tanya, and to all of our nominees 👏
Your dedication, teamwork, and commitment to the people we support truly embody what we stand for at UDC, supporting people to love their life and live their dreams.

Through our Dreams campaign, we’ve learned that dreams look different for everyone🌈
Rosalie’s dream is all about strength, health, and independence.
After an incredible weight loss journey, Rosalie set her sights on building her fitness and continuing to improve her wellbeing.
Through UDC's Dreams campaign, we supported her with a gym membership to help bring that vision to life.
Rosalie's goal is clear: to walk around the Oxenford Lake (it's about 4km!) by the new year with minimal stops 🏃♀️💪
We’re so proud to be part of your journey Rosalie, and can't wait to see the progress you make with your goals! 💙

It’s the little things that make the biggest difference, because that’s where real independence is built.
Not always in big milestones, but in everyday moments.
Making a choice.
Trying again after a tough day.
Doing something on your own that used to feel out of reach.
That’s what progress can look like.
And that’s what we’re here to support💙

Cooking up a storm 👨🍳✨
Geoff and Ricky worked together to create this bangers & mash from start to finish. A great team effort and all made by them!
Plenty of smiles and a job well done 👏

A special day for Erica 🐬✨
As part of our Register Your Dream campaign, she recently visited Sea World on the Gold Coast for a truly special experience.
It’s easy to see why dolphin experiences are such a popular dream, with a day filled with joy, learning, and unforgettable moments💙
We hope you had the best day Erica!

Today is World Autism Awareness Day 💙
Autism is a spectrum.
Autistic people have different strengths, experiences and support needs. Some may communicate verbally. Others may use assistive technology, gesture or behaviour. Some may mask their differences in certain environments. Others may require significant daily support.
There is no single way autism “looks”.
Acceptance means recognising these differences without comparison. It means adapting environments, communication and expectations so that people can participate in ways that work for them.
Inclusion requires more than awareness. It requires understanding.
