United Disability Care

United Disability Care Originally the company was called Accommodation Network, then later ACCNet21.

Our mission at UDC is to support people with disability to love their life and live their dreams, by achieving their goals and connecting with their communities in meaningful ways. United Disability Care was founded in 1993 by a lovely lady named Deb Stewart who wanted to provide support services to people with a disability in their own home. Its operation was focused on the rural NSW regions north and north-west of Sydney, with its corporate support services and executive team offices in Tweed Heads and Ocean Shores, near the Queensland border. We provide supports in Southern QLD, Northern NSW and Mid-North Coast

What is neurodiversity?

Neurodiversity recognises that differences in how people think, learn and experience the world, including autism, ADHD and dyslexia, are natural variations of the human brain, not deficits to be “fixed”.

From 16–20 March, we’re recognising Neurodiversity Celebration Week and the diverse strengths, perspectives and contributions neurodivergent people bring to our communities.

Inclusion begins with understanding.
Understanding begins with listening.

🔥 Community support in action

A huge thank you to everyone who came by our Bunnings BBQ and supported the day. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised $1,447.26.

These funds will go towards events, dreams, and special experiences for the people we support, helping create meaningful moments and opportunities.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to our amazing volunteers who gave their time to make the day possible, and to Bunnings Warehouse Australia for having us and supporting local community fundraising.

We’re so grateful for the support 💙🌭

We’re proud to share that UDC has received a very positive outcome following our recent NDIS re-registration audit. 💛

The auditors recognised the strength of our organisation, including our leadership, governance, and commitment to quality and continuous improvement. They were particularly impressed by the capability of our teams and how well everyday support practices are understood and applied.

The audit also acknowledged our Love your life and Live your Dreams -campaign and the positive impact it has on the lives of the people we support by creating opportunities for meaningful experiences, inclusion, and personal goals beyond routine supports.

This outcome reflects the professionalism of our staff and the trust placed in us by the people we support and their families.

A huge thank you to our amazing teams. Your care, skill, and commitment make outcomes like this possible.
