We are quickly approaching week 2 of Term 4 and we wanted to share with our community the theme of our sermon series for the next 9 weeks at Crossroads

We Have This Hope

Hebrews 6:19
“We have this hope, as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”
Life is full of questions and challenges — loss, fear, conflict, guilt, and change. These are not easy things to talk about, but they are real for all of us. In this series - We Have This Hope, we will face life’s tricky conversations together with gentleness and courage. Anchored in the promise of Hebrews 6:19, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure,” we will discover how Jesus meets us in our struggles with love, peace, and hope that cannot be shaken.
We want to do life WELL. Together in community and with God.
We pray this term will not only be a blessing but it will encourage and remind us turn our eyes to our true HOPE

This Friday 19th September, is our LAST DAY for Term 3! The best way to finish the term is to celebrate World Laughter Day. To mark the occasion, we will feature our very own Joke-Off! Think you’ve got the funniest knock-knock? The cheesiest pun? Or a side-splitting one-liner? Now’s your time to shine!
Because nothing brings us together quite like a good laugh. 💛

👉 Come ready to giggle, groan, and maybe even snort-laugh (we won’t judge!).

Crossroads! We are back this coming Friday the 5th of September. We have 3 more Crossroads for the term and there is lots of fun to be had.
Here’s what’s coming up:
Friday 5th - BBQ lunch, Worship, Community ❤️
Friday 12th: Karaoke 🎤 and P.J day
Friday 19th: Wrap for the term with World Laughter Day 🤩

Let’s end this term with a bang 🥳

Next week will be a sad week because we have no Crossroads! But do not fret as we will be resuming as usual from the 5th of September. Enjoy your Gold Coast holiday and we will see you in a few weeks time ❤️☀️🎢🌊🏝️

Get ready for a BEARY fun day at Crossroads this Friday, June 13 from 9:00am to 1:30pm! 🧺✨

We're rolling out the picnic rugs, bringing out the teddies, and celebrating friendship, fun, and fluffy vibes with a magical Teddy Bear Picnic! Whether your bear is big, small, cuddly or quirky – they’re invited too! 🧸❤️

Expect games, music, food, laughter, and a whole lot of bear hugs. 🐾
Don’t forget to bring your favourite teddy and wear your picnic best!

About Us

Crossroads is a Centre-based Community Social and Recreational Activity Centre for people who are living with an intellectual and or physical disability and includes their families and support workers. Our campus is inclusive, fun and a safe place for all, and is wheelchair friendly

Crossroads is an interactive and social inclusion program that has been offered to guests and support workers since 1995 and is a place where they can enjoy worship, nutritious food, entertainment and most of all connection with their friends and our team of dedicated staff and volunteers. And as the saying goes. ‘Where I Belong’

Crossroads is open 47 weeks of the year and closed for 3 weeks over the Christmas New Year period, Good Friday and the Gold Coast show day. Please call the office closer to this time for the dates of closure.
