The ideal candidate will have a "can do" attitude, experience in assisting clients in all aspects of personal care, be capable of transferring clients using a sling lifter, be able to undertake multiple short shifts, and have a manual driver's license. It is amazing what people with disability can achieve

In recognition of World MS Day, we’re sharing Emma’s story.

After five years, Adelaide participant Emma is about to clock up her 100th parkrun.

In addition to this milestone, Emma has also achieved a significant life goal, completing a full length marathon (42.195km) while also managing symptoms of multiple sclerosis (MS).

“For me, running a marathon isn’t about saying to anyone I’ve run a marathon, it’s about saying to myself I’m actually bigger than this disease, that it’s not going to stop me, that this is something I always wanted to do, and I can still do this.”

One of our TRUE HERO stories. We love to hear about the relationships built on trust and friendship.

“ I first met Paul on Saturday December 2nd 2017. We immediately got along and we have formed a fantastic carer-client relationship.
As a support worker/mentor l help Paul navigate his life, get his business in order and have a lot of fun along the way.
Paul has had many goals and we deal with these together. One of these goals is that he lives independently with a little help.
Paul enjoys day to day activities, banking, shopping, watching movies, collecting toys and has a keen interest of
animals.
Paul enjoys watching and attending AFL footy and AFLW. We have attended matches and we went also went to the Grand-final, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
We had an awesome time together and Paul has a lot more that he wants to do.
