One of my absolute favourite places in the world.
Despite the recent negative media stories that are circulating about the Tower leases for the old resort site being revoked, Great Keppel Island Hideaway is STILL open for business, welcoming visitors from around the world.
Great Keppel Island is such a beautiful, special place. This is a place that is beautiful all year ‘round- yes, even in the colder months!
Even during the cooler months you can escape to this tropical paradise and enjoy everything that is wonderful about the island, laze on the white sandy beaches, snorkel and explore the walking tracks around the island that will lead you to numerous secluded beaches.

We have received a large number of calls and messages in relation to recent media articles regarding the news that the leases for the old GKI Resort with Tower Holding have been revoked.
The Hideaway continues to welcome guests from all over the World 365 days a year.
The Great Keppel Island Hideaway encourages future development on GKI which acknowledges the history of the island, respect the residents, protects the flora and fauna and showcases our special piece of tropical paradise situated on the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
