What happens when we die?
You're probably saying to yourself, ummmm... I'm not sure I want to read this. Talking about death and dying makes a lot of us extremely uncomfortable. For many of us it's a taboo subject, yet for other cultures it is held in deep reverence.
Through my own experiences in life and my career as a paramedic I saw and experienced a lot of deaths and people at the very end stages of life.
I will admit that many were traumatic but many others were filled with a beauty that is hard to describe.
So what happens in that time leading up to the time of passing.
As part of my teachings I always talk about the energetic layers of self. These are components of us that are with us in every life time. Imagine them being like energetic drawers in a chest of drawers.
Through our lifetime and lifetimes we absorb negative and positive low vibrating life moments which fall onto our layers of self. So to simplify that, as we live life the negative aspects and incidents in life leave an energetic part of these experiences in our drawers, in our chest of drawers. In a sense we are putting dirty un**es in those drawers.
These begin to pile up over time and are never removed. So as these negative life moments build up in our layers of self we begin to experience life in a negative way - anxiety, depression, dis-ease, anger, sadness etc.
In any given moment these life moments that lie deep within the layers of self may be activated by a word, thought, action or energy and rise to the surface, thereby shifting life into a negative reality.
So what happens when we are nearing death? As the days move closer to that moment of the last breath the layers of self start shifting and opening up to allow negative life moments to rise to the surface to be released.
These are the life moments that are important to be released in order for the person to move onto their next life in a more healed way. These life moments become greater in number the closer it is to the time of passing.
With what I've been shown by Source is that by energetically releasing those life moments on the energetic layers of self it assists the person to pass in peace and assists their next life, if you believe in reincarnation.
For me, being able to assist someone to pass is the most sacred of spaces to be in. It is beautiful and gentle and Source holds this space in utter reverence. As the energetic life moments are released you can literally "feel" the person start to shift into a deeper space of peace. It is utterly breathtaking.
In one instance, as I was working in the layers of a young woman who was passing due to an accident, the anxiety in her started to ease and as the life moments started to disappear the sense of anxiety disappeared. As I worked with her, I could see life moments arise that weren't hers but her family's and I continued to work and release these so that she could pass in peace.
One also hears so often about a person passing when no one is in the room with them. Why is this? From what I've been shown it is in those moments of passing that stillness and presence is needed. That as the moment arrives the Core of self requires for all layers to be held in stillness and that by someone being there there is a possibility of adding negative life moments to the layers or triggering more life moments by the reaction of the loved one. It also occurs so that negative life moments are not triggered in the person or persons that are with them.
That is why it's so important to also work with the family and release their energetic life moments so that it won't affect the person's passing.
So some of you are probably thinking, what happens to my loved who has passed? Can I still help them? The answer is yes. The layers of self are always present, even when they have passed. The life moments in their layers won't be the same as the ones in the lead up to their passing but we are still able to release what is there, even months or years later.
But from what I've been shown , up to 5 days after passing the life moments from the build up to their passing are still present, so this is still a great opportunity to assist them.
So why am I talking about this stage of life? Because it is so very important for us to understand that we have the opportunity to assist ourselves and others to pass in peace into the next lifetime. That we can shed and release that which holds us bound and holds us in lack. For me, being able to pass from this life with less 'baggage' so I can positively affect my next one is one of the most important things in my life that I can do for myself and others.
