The word Paleolithic, means pre-historic. When joining Paleo Fitness you have entered a journey into self-discovery to find who you are, where you come from and what you need. It takes 10,000 years for 1/10 of 1% percent of the human gene to change, so we are no different now than we were 10,000 years ago. If a Paleolithic male/female were to walk up to you, and shake your hand, you would not be able to tell the difference between them or anyone else, apart from their robust, extremely lean healthy appearance. The Paleolithic male/female would have no health issues and would be able to out run, jump, fight and swim any modern athlete. A Paleolithic human died from infection, starvation or being eaten. If a Male “Caveman” lived to being 60years old, he was out hunting, sprinting, jumping and fighting , quite the paradox to “modern day” 60y/old male. Paleolithic living refers to those tribes of people that lived off the land. This means that there are as many different Paleo diets as there were/are different enevironments around the world. An Eskimos Paleo Diet is different to an Indians Paleo Diet. There is no actual "Paleo Diet". There is only one Paleo Diet for you and your body, and that Paleo Diet may not work for someone else.
