Over the past few weeks, the ladies in our Her Story group have been busy building something beautiful. Their very own bee hotel! 🏡

With teamwork, creativity, and a love for nature, they crafted a cosy little space to support our buzzing friends in the environment. It’s been a fun and meaningful project that brought everyone together and sparked some great conversations about sustainability and community 🌸🌿

We’re Building Something NEW in Aged Care – and YOU Could Lead the Way!

Access Recreation is excited to launch a fresh, innovative aged care service, and we’re looking for a passionate Community Aged Care Manager to join our leadership team

Why This Role Matters:
This is your chance to shape a brand new service that empowers older Australians to stay connected, independent, and confident in their care all while remaining in their own homes.

In this role, you will:
• Lead and grow aged care services across Rockhampton & Bundaberg
• Provide clinical oversight and support for complex care clients
• Build strong partnerships with GPs, hospitals, and allied health providers
• Mentor and guide a team of Aged Care Coordinators
• Ensure the highest standards of care and compliance

About You:
We’re looking for a compassionate and strategic leader who brings:
• A Nursing degree and AHPRA registration
• 3+ years’ experience in aged or community nursing (with 2+ years in leadership)
• Strong clinical governance and risk management skills
• A passion for driving innovation and quality care

Salary: $106,000 – $130,000 per year (plus generous salary packaging)
Location: Rockhampton & Bundaberg Regions

🌟 Shoutout to a Local Legend! 🌟

Yesterday while on shift, one of our support workers unfortunately got a flat tyre. I got out of the car to check it, and before I even had a chance to call the office, a gentleman named Slade from Tropical Coast Plumbing Rockhampton came over and jumped straight in to help – no hesitation, just genuine kindness.

He was absolutely a hero for us in that moment! 🙌

It’s moments like these that remind us there are still wonderful, helpful people out there

Access Recreation is looking for a passionate NDIS Support Coordinator to join our team Full Time!

Help people with disability navigate their NDIS plans, connect with services, and reach their goals

✅ Assisting existing and new participants to implement their NDIS Plans and coordinate their services and supports
✅ Building and maintaining relationships with mainstream and disability services providers and actioning of appropriate referrals
✅ Assisting with plan reviews and reporting on progress towards goals
✅ Meeting a weekly billing KPI
✅ Building NDIS participant and family capacity to understand and navigate service systems
✅ Regularly monitor expenditure and support participants to remain informed as to their rate of expenditure and the potential effects
