We had an amazing morning tea with Assistant Minister Amanda Stoker and our team at our Gladstone campus.
Amanda was able to see our students from our Gladstone State High School health hub conduct some manual handling training with both Suzie our Accredited Trainer and Lisa our Training Manager in our simulated training room.
What an amazing way to showcase our health pathways for the students of the Gladstone region.

Lisa, Josie and Nicole completed a new set up at our Gladstone campus for our simulated training rooms today!!

Our students will be able to complete their practical skills training, learn the use of PPE and complete all their manual handling training prior to going on their clinical placement.

This gives all our students studying at our Gladstone campus the opportunity to learn the skills to prepare them for their clinical placement and create a job outcome.

We were honoured yesterday to have the Assistant Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training, Amanda Stoker attend our Beenleigh Pathology simulated clinic to witness our students perform some live bleeds in our simulated clinic along side our hospital simulated training room where our Cert III students from Park Ridge State High School demonstrated good manual handling skills.
