We would like to offer our sincere apologies to Mathew and Cameron Chilly’s family and friends for the audio issues experienced during the livestream of their funeral service. This was unfortunately out of our control.

We understand how important it was for those watching online to feel present and connected, especially for people who could not be there in person. We are truly sorry for any added distress or disappointment this may have caused on such a significant and emotional day.

Our tech team has now resolved the issue, and a full recording of the service is available to view.

We hope this allows everyone who loved Mathew and Cameron to revisit the service and share in the memories and tributes in their own time.

Rose Evelyn Emery
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Rose Evelyn Emery at Respect Emerald Avalon on 24 November 2025.

Last surviving sibling of 6 brothers & 5 sisters.
Wife to Tex Emery (dec), and Frederick Butcher (dec).
Mother to Neil, Gary, Allan, Theresa and Kylie.
Mother-in-Law to Loris, Peter and Ian (dec).
Grandmother to Shaun, Rachel, Damian, Kathleen and David.
Great Grandmother to Heath, Reegahn, Scarlett, Hannah, Seth and Beau.

Relatives and Friends are warmly invited to farewell Rose at the Rockhampton Crematorium located at 436-440 Yaamba Rd, Norman Gardens on Wednesday 3 December 2025, commencing at 11.00am.

Rose’s faith service at St. Luke’s Anglican Church located at 40 Theresa St, Emerald on Saturday 6 December 2025, commencing at 10.00am.
Following the service in Emerald all guests are invited to The Capricornia Restaurant, Esmond Street for refreshments while immediate family will have their final farewell at the Emerald Cemetery.

With profound sadness, we share the heart-breaking loss of Maddison and her little brother Desmond, who passed away on Thursday, 6 November 2025.

Deeply loved and adored children of Loreena Krause and Jake Symons, held in their hearts forever.
Beloved grandchildren, cherished always by their grandparents.
Deeply missed by their loving family, joined in grief from many places.

So very young and so deeply loved, Maddison and Desmond brought immeasurable joy in their brief time here. Maddison, with her ready smile and cheerful spirit, turned ordinary moments into treasured memories, while Desmond, a bright and joyful little soul, found his greatest comfort in loving arms and looked up to his big sister as Maddy’s little light - the precious brother who completed her world.

They will be forever remembered by all relatives and friends of the family, and mourned by their community.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a service to honour and farewell Maddison and Desmond, to be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 480 Norman Road, Norman Gardens QLD 4701, on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, commencing at 10.30am.

Passed away peacefully at his home on 16 November 2025
Aged 90 years

Loving and devoted husband to Barbara (dec'd).
Adored father and father-in-law to Steve and Margi, Lea and Karyn.
Cherished Pa to Josh, Abbey, Rhys, Kirk, Darcy, Neisha, Bradley, Jesse and Kaycee and their families and proud Great Grandpa to baby Harrison.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Yeppoon on 30th November at 11am at 34 MacDonald Street, Barlows Hill.

A further Celebration of Life will be held in Melbourne with family and friends.

Aged 15 Years

Tragically taken from us on Thursday, 6 November 2025.
Their lives, full of love and promise, were heartbreakingly cut short.

Mathew was a devoted and loving father to Martia, Cameron, Lorraine, Mathew and Tobias, and a cherished son of Herbert Chilly and Arlene Mann.

Cameron was a much-loved daughter of Mathew Chilly and Sarah Twaddle, and a dearly loved sister to Martia, Lorraine, Mathew and Tobias.

They will be dearly missed by their siblings, relatives, many friends and the Emerald community. No words can measure the depth of this loss; nothing can replace their presence in the lives of those who love them.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a service to honour and farewell Mathew and Cameron, to be held on Friday 28 November 2025 at Calvary Christian Church, 11 Gladstone St, Emerald QLD, commencing at 10:00am.

A committal will follow at Emerald Cemetery.

Although no longer with us, she is never far from our thoughts.
