Summer has officially arrived, bringing warmer days, outdoor fun, and plenty of sunshine! As we embrace the new season, it’s also a great time to check in on your health and wellbeing.
Here are a few simple reminders to help you stay safe and healthy this summer:
🌞 Protect your skin - Slip, slop, slap, seek, and slide — sunscreen, hats, shade, and protective clothing are your best defence against UV damage.
💧 Stay hydrated - Drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially when spending time outdoors or being active.
🚶♂️ Keep moving - Early mornings and evenings are perfect for walks and exercise while avoiding the hottest part of the day.
😴 Prioritise rest - Heat can make you feel more tired — listen to your body and rest when needed.
🦟 Watch out for bites and stings - Use insect repellent and keep an eye out for mosquito-prone areas.
