Hello!

I’m Carmen, the proud owner of Studio Thirtytwo—Central Queensland’s vibrant hub for Photography, Beauty, and Holistic Healing. My passion for photography has been with me since childhood, and I’ve been professionally capturing moments since 2011. We rebranded in 2018 to reflect the growth of our family business and the addition of exciting new services beyond photography and became Studio Thritytwo.

I discovered Holistic Healing, which helped me manage the stress of my busy life and brought a sense of calm and balance. This inspired me to pursue Reiki, and in 2020, I became a Reiki Master. I continue to expand my knowledge and skills, offering these valuable services to my incredible clients.

I’m married to my best friend, Greg, who likes to claim the title of “best assistant ever” (and honestly, he’s not wrong, but I won’t let his ego get too big!). Greg is often by my side at photography sessions or weddings, capturing behind-the-scenes shots, driving me around, or carrying all the gear. We make a fantastic team and have a blended family with three talented daughters who all live and work locally. Oh and we have an awesome little grandson who usually stars in our set up images from time to time - he is super cute.

When we’re not working, Greg and I both love to travel and explore our world. We’re always excited to meet new people and create lasting memories, and when we get the chance to combine work with travel, it’s a win-win for us!

Bringing all our services together under one roof was a bit of a challenge, but I hope you find our website easy to navigate.

This year, we’re adding a fun twist to our Christmas Mini Sessions! Each weekend will feature a different background/set-up, so you can capture your festive moments in a unique way. You’re welcome to bring your family, friends, and fur babies along to any of the sessions. Check our website for the full list of backgrounds and corresponding dates.

**Choose your session type**

Xmas Mini – No Santa/Grumpy Greg, just festive fun!
Xmas Mini with Santa – Add the big guy in red to your photos!
Santa Paws – For those bringing furry friends to the session.
Grumpy Greg – A fun session where the kids will be "surprised" when Grumpy Greg appears.
