The Living Large crew is BACK for Term 2 and what a way to kick things off! 🌊☀️
We spent a beautiful afternoon down at the beach, soaking up the sunshine and making the most of everything on offer. There was fishing, kite flying, getting creative in the sand, and plenty of laughs along the way. 🎣🪁
The crew worked together, supported each other, and really got involved in every activity it was so great to see everyone giving things a go and enjoying the moment. 💛
We wrapped it all up with a classic sausage sizzle, sharing food, stories, and a few more laughs before heading home.
A fantastic start to the term, with connection, confidence, and fun at the heart of it all. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the term brings! 🙌

The Living Large Crew enjoyed a beautiful day out at the Botanical Gardens just before Easter, filled with laughter, creativity, and connection.

We kicked things off with an Easter egg hunt with a funny twist: instead of chocolate, the eggs were packed with Easter jokes and riddles, which brought lots of smiles and laughs.

The crew then toasted hot cross buns on the BBQ, which were a massive hit and absolutely delicious.

To wrap up the day, participants headed off to hide the painted rocks they had created together a few weeks ago, spreading a little colour, kindness, and creativity throughout the gardens.

A fantastic day full of fun, teamwork, and meaningful moments. We’re so proud of the engagement and spirit shown by everyone involved.

This week, the Living Large Crew headed out for an awesome excursion to Farnborough Beach, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be!

The crew enjoyed exploring the beach, trying their hand at fishing, getting creative with craft activities, and flying kites in the sea breeze. Between all the fun, the crew fuelled up by cooking and enjoying a classic beach‑day favourite a sausage sizzle!

Most importantly, it was a great opportunity to relax, reconnect, share plenty of laughs, and enjoy a catch‑up with friends in a beautiful setting.

Thanks to everyone who made the day so memorable we’re already looking forward to the next adventure!

The Freestyle Theatre cast and crew have begun work on the pirate ship for our upcoming production Scallywags and Sea Rats. The team is buzzing with creativity. Each person learns new life skills including motor, executive functioning, communication, and social.
