This week, the Living Large Crew headed out for an awesome excursion to Farnborough Beach, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be!

The crew enjoyed exploring the beach, trying their hand at fishing, getting creative with craft activities, and flying kites in the sea breeze. Between all the fun, the crew fuelled up by cooking and enjoying a classic beach‑day favourite a sausage sizzle!

Most importantly, it was a great opportunity to relax, reconnect, share plenty of laughs, and enjoy a catch‑up with friends in a beautiful setting.

Thanks to everyone who made the day so memorable we’re already looking forward to the next adventure!

The Freestyle Theatre cast and crew have begun work on the pirate ship for our upcoming production Scallywags and Sea Rats. The team is buzzing with creativity. Each person learns new life skills including motor, executive functioning, communication, and social.

Last week's "Living Large Crew" had an awesome time out and about, heading off for an afternoon of bowling and ice cream!

Everyone joined the fun, showing off some great gross motor skills with powerful bowling swings, steady approaches, and a few legendary victory dances along the way.

The laughs were nonstop as the crew built their social skills through teamwork, encouragement, and cheering each other on. And we finished the outing with some delicious Gelatissimo ice cream to celebrate a great afternoon together!

Last week’s "Living Large Crew" excursion focused on building both gross and fine motor skills while sharing meaningful time together.

The group travelled to Mount Archer and enjoyed the scenic walk - supporting movement, balance, and confidence through gentle gross motor activity in the fresh air. At the top of the mountain, everyone engaged in Valentine’s Day craft before cooking a sausage sizzle on the barbecue - practicing fine motor skills through hands-on tasks like gripping, turning tongs, and helping prepare food.
