Heya My lovely people!
My Name’s Adrianna or best yet known as AJ!
I am an Independent Support Worker whose finally decided to start my own little business for myself in a Career i absolutely love! - Disability, or as i love to call it Abilities!
Just a little introduction to myself, i have been in this industry for 13 years and have had the pleasure of working for a few companies over the years at a very young age to which I have met so many wonderful families/clients but also empowering and supportive companies over this time that i still remain in contact with, as it’s important for not only myself but for the people, families and organisations i have worked with to retain a healthy professional friendship! (And i love to see everybody win and kick their goals when crossing paths again to hear how they are and where they are at!)
The reasoning to behind my business name, AJ’S Empowerment Support & Care, is because for myself to be who i am and where i am at, was not because of the heart i have or my work ethic, but because of the people i worked for and looked up too in that time as well as clients worked with, to be able to go on this journey for myself year’s later and it was from a massive help to create this name by a client i’ve worked with for years to help me create a business name that represents myself!
I have experience in many types of Abilities and needs, you name it, i’ve more than likely worked with people with needs and goal’s like your’s! But i am also keen to learn new clients with Abilities i have not yet worked with to always gain more knowledge and experience for myself! Everyone is unique and no one is the same and that’s what i love about this industry as there’s always something to learn about a person!
I am a Mother of Three children and my oldest Son is ADHD and Autistic. I’ve been very thankful to start my career at a young age before having children to know how to best help my son as the years he gets older and achieve his own goals at every mile-stone and how best to accommodate him at every turn he may have.
As a mother i am my childrens biggest cheerleader but also as a position as Support Worker, my clients are not just my clients, they are my family also and we all like to have alot of fun, many laughs and many memories which i love to be a cheerleader for them also!
I’m not just a Support Worker and i’d love to think of myself as one of a kind because i see you, i see me and your not just a client, your family and i want to be apart of seeing you win and achieve your goals all while you be and embrace yourself just as much as i can do the same on my behalf for you and hopefully make you laugh and smile while you achieve them!
