Walk to Remember – Kicking Off Dementia Awareness Month!

We’ve laced up our walking shoes and hit the park to launch our Walk to Remember, a beautiful initiative raising awareness for dementia throughout September. 💙

Every lap walked is a step toward understanding, compassion, and support for those living with dementia and their families. Join us in making a difference—walk with us, share the message, and donate in the café all month long.

Let’s walk together, remember together, and build a more dementia-friendly community. 👟🧠💫

There's magic in the moments when young and old come together! Our Monday playgroup, run in partnership with Play Matters Rockhampton is all about forming beautiful connections and unforgettable bonds between generations.
It's heartwarming to see the smiles and laughter shared as residents and playgroup visitors enjoy quality time together.
Our intergenerational mornings run Monday from 9:30am, come join the fun, everyone is welcome!

Happy Aged Care Employee Day 🧡

Today we celebrate everyone who works in aged care from our care teams, through to cleaning, catering, laundry and administration. Everyone has a vital role to play in the delivery of good quality care and we think our teams is exceptional!

We celebrated with a Breakfast BBQ for our staff and recognised their incredible contributions through our Aged Care Angel Awards. These awards give residents and families the opportunity to acknowledge our dedicated team, and allow staff to see just how valued they are here at Benevolent Living 🫶🏻

Smiles, stories, and shared moments 🌟

Today our residents had the absolute joy of spending time with the wonderful Year 6 students from Saint Joseph's Catholic Primary School Wandal. Through small group activities, laughter and conversation flowed freely, creating beautiful connections across generations.

One resident summed it up perfectly: “It’s just lovely to see happy kids and hear their cheerful chatter.” 💖

Thank you to the students and staff for a truly heartwarming morning!
