Attention Queensland Childcare Educators! 📢

Starting 1 April 2025, the Queensland Government requires all nominated supervisors, persons in day-to-day charge, and family day care coordinators to complete an approved course under Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law

🚨 In-house training will no longer meet these requirements.
🛠️ Get compliant with Allens Training (RTO 90909)!

We offer an approved course: CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk to help you meet the new standards.

Celebrating Thank a First Responder Day June 12

Join us in thanking the brave individuals who are the first to respond in emergencies, risking their lives to save others. Whether they are police officers, firefighters, paramedics, volunteer emergency workers, or the Good Samaritan who is first on the scene, our First Responders deserve our deepest gratitude and support.

Free Mental Health Awareness Course

This Thank a First Responder Day, Allens Training are offering a Free Mental Health Awareness course to help first responders and their families recognise and manage mental health challenges that arise from their demanding roles.

The Importance of Mental Health for First Responders

First responders are at a higher risk for mental health issues such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Did you know that one first responder took their life every six weeks in 2015? Early intervention and support can make a significant difference in their well-being and effectiveness in their roles.

Building Stronger Communities

Understanding mental health helps build stronger, more resilient communities. Our free, fully online short course provides an introduction to the skills and knowledge required to support first responders effectively.

Get Involved

We encourage everyone to take part in our free course. Click the link below to register and find out how you can support first responders this June 12th. Let's come together to support those who are always there for us.

There are many triggers for asthma. Stress and emotions are a common one. Know the symptoms and have an up to date asthma management plan.

Did you know asthma can be triggered by emotions? While it's impossible to cut out all stresses from our lives, there are things you can do to reduce the risk of emotions making your asthma worse.

✅ Manage your asthma symptoms with your asthma medicines.
✅ Ask your doctor how to tell the difference between your asthma symptoms and symptoms of anxiety, stress, or depression.
✅ Consider using additional support services - Beyond Blue, Lifeline, Black Dog, and Head to Health websites all have useful information.

Read our Asthma, Anxiety and Depression brochure on our website for more information: https://buff.ly/3SBeEPM
