Another 12 months rolls by! BAM Disability Support Services recently celebrated our 2nd birthday in style, treating our participants to a great day out - because our participants are the reason we continue to do what we do.

We’re all about celebrating achievements together, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without the connections built between our participants and our support staff.

Our goal has always been to support your independence, your way. Gaining life skills isn’t just about learning, it’s about unlocking confidence and independence - we’re all about creating real connections and making sure you get the most out of every day. 🎅Bam Disability Services will be closed from Monday 22nd December 2025 and will reopen on the Monday 5th January 2026. During this period, our team will continue to operate with a reduced staffing roster to support our participants with essential services. At BAM Disability Services, we are deeply saddened by the incident that took place at Bondi Beach in Sydney on Sunday night. Our hearts go out to everyone affected, the individuals involved, their families, friends, and the wider community. During times like these, we are reminded of how important it is to stand together with care, kindness, and compassion.

We know that such events can be incredibly distressing and may affect people in different ways. Please know that you are not alone, and support is available if you need someone to talk to. The following free and confidential support services are available 24/7 across Australia:

TODAY’s the DAY!

International Day for People with Disability

Wednesday 3rd December

Today is the day to promote awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability. It provides a chance for the community to respect and value people with disability, help reduce stigma around disability and build a more inclusive society through targeted conversations.

There are 5.5 million people with disability in Australia. That’s 1 in 5 people. You may be a person with disability or know someone with disability.

BAM Disability Services are recognising the importance of this day by creating a space for open conversations around helping NDIS participants gain better access participant-focused support services, help with NDIS applications, and helping participants live their best life by POWERING UP YOUR INDEPENDENCE!
