Please give a warm welcome to our new osteopath, Michael Fleischmann! ✨️👏
Michael is a registered osteopath with over 15 years of experience who provides calm, thorough, and patient-centred care. In clinic, Michael focuses on understanding the whole picture—your symptoms, daily demands, health history, goals, and what you’re most concerned about—so that treatment is safe, tailored, and makes sense to you.
He commonly works with musculoskeletal pain and movement problems, including neck and back pain, headaches, shoulder and hip issues, sporting and overuse injuries, and persistent pain where multiple factors may be contributing. Michael places a strong emphasis on clear explanation and shared decision making: you’ll understand what he thinks is happening, what the options are, what to expect, and how you can take an active role in recovery.
Treatment may include hands-on osteopathic techniques, advice on movement and load management, and practical home strategies. Sessions are guided by your preferences and comfort, with close attention to safety, consent, and the pace that feels right for you.
Michael holds a PhD and is an academic at Victoria University, where he teaches and supervises in health programs. He brings this evidence-informed mindset into every consultation, and collaborates with GPs and other health professionals when needed so your care is coordinated and supports your broader health goals.
