We welcome Matthew Peet (physiotherapist) to Romsey Medical Centre.
Physiotherapy now available at Romsey Medical 5 days per week. Complimenting Ben Gidley who does Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Matthew is doing Wednesday and Friday.
Matthew is a qualified physiotherapist with a bachelor in sport science (clinical practice) and a masters of physiotherapy. With a strong interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation.
Matthew is passionate about helping patients recover from musculosketal conditions and improving their quality of life.

ROMSEY MEDICAL CENTRE STAWELL STREET UPGRADE WORKS.
Monday 12th May to Friday 20th June.

Macedon Ranges Shire Council have contracted Pendergast Engineering to undertake a road and pathways construction project in Stawell Street, Romsey (in front of Romsey Medical Centre). This includes:
- resurfacing the road
- Reconstruction of the footpath between Main Road and the Medical Centre.
- Construction of a road crossing at the Main Road end of Stawell Street.

The project will involve significant disruption to the day-to-day access to the Romsey Medical Centre.

During this period only patients with disability or need assistance and ambulances will be given access to park in the Romsey Medical Centre Car Park. Pendergast Engineering site controllers will manage access to the car park. All other patients will be required to park in either Main Road or Pohlman Street.

Pendergast Engineering have advised that there will be pedestrian access to the Medical Centre at all times.

In September we welcomed John Swan to our community.
John Swan is an orthopaedic surgeon treating upper limb (shoulder, elbow, wrist), knee and hip both operatively and non operatively. To have John Swan with his experience and qualitues consulting locally in our community is very fortunate.

CARDIOLAB has been providing Paediatric and Adult Cardiology Diagnostic Services for 35 years throughout the State.
CARDIOLAB provides mobility, accessibility through an experienced and knowledgeable team and now are bringing those Cardiology Diagnostic Services regularly to our Lancefield Specialist Centre.
CARDIOLAB presently is providing the following services: Transthoracic Echo, Holter Monitor. Ambulatory BP, ECG and in the future intending Stress Echo and Stress ECG.
We are all aware of the wait times for these services elsewhere and we are so appreciative of having the team here and supporting the community with these valuable services.

We say goodbye and thank you to Dr Hansini Fernando (moving to the East of Melbourne to live). Dr Simon Watson who as part of his GP Training must move to another clinic for this year. Dr Yasir Aldhaher who is moving into a specialist area at a city hospital. We thank them for their contribution to our clinics and the community and wish them well.

We welcome the following doctors to our Lancefield and Romsey Medical Centres to provide ongoing care to the community. Dr Hina Bhatti who started in early January. Dr Laarni Escurel, Dr khoulah Khan and Dr Farhat Hashimi who will all be starting at the beginning of February.

The Medical Centres will now have 5 female and 5 male doctors, with 5 of our doctors 100% bulk billing.

Welcome to DR HINA BHATTI to our community.

Dr Hina Bhatti has joined us at our Lancefield Medical Centre and is committed to providing a high-quality, evidence-based care to her patients. Dr Hina enjoys all areas of general practice and has a special interest in Women's Health, Chronic Disease Management, preventative health and mental health. Dr Hina has also spent considerable time in gynecology and obstetrics.

Away from work Dr Hina in her spare time enjoys cooking, gardening and travelling. Come in and say hello!

Dr Hina Bhatti is a BULK BILLING DOCTOR.

Dr Hina will also be working at Romsey Mefical Centre in the near future.

We advised back in September that John Swan an orthopaedic surgeon was now consulting at our Lancefield Medical Specialist Centre.

Thankyou to the Lancefield, Romsey and surrounding communities for supporting John. The first three months of his time with us has seen a very good response from the community.

It is such a positive to have someone of John Swan experience and qualities consulting in our community, meaning patients can get quality consulting and advice without having to travel to Melbourne.
